Challenges of Being a Graduate Student

Many GCU graduate students are adults who have full-time jobs, families, and multiple responsibilities. It can be difficult to balance school, work, and family life. At the start of graduate studies, GCU encourages students to think critically about what they will do to ensure their success in graduate studies. Specifically, students need to think about how to juggle multiple responsibilities while also considering when to study, where to study, and how to communicate with family and friends their commitment to graduate study and earning a graduate degree.
